Nick Cannon,husband of the famed pop star, Mariah Carey, fears he might “pass out” in the delivery room during the birth of their children. This statement from Nick came as the delivery date for their children is coming closer and closer. Mariah confirmed to the media that she was indeed pregnant last November. She is pregnant with twins, a boy & a girl. The couple got married in February 2008 in the Bahamas. Rumours of Mariah???s pregnancy were abound since the latter part of last year, when the diva was seen trying to hide her baby bump from the glaring eyes of the media. After initial denials, the couple finally accepted the news & declared they are going to have twins.

The couple had a baby shower recently, at the Conservatory Grill at Montage hotel in Beverly Hills. Late pregnancy is indeed a risky affair for a woman. Carey, at 41, runs the risks of having various complications during late pregnancy. So it is quite understandable that Nick is fearful. We just hope & pray that the delivery goes off smoothly without any hitch & both, the babies & their mother, remain in perfect health. Also, we hope Nick doesn’t “faint”. After all, much tougher tasks are waiting for him in the future as far as being a father is concerned!
