Beer Advocate has listed out the top 100 beers for the year 2006, with Trappist Westvleteren 12 (Yellow Cap), Quadrupel style beer from Brouwerij Westvleteren topping the charts with 94 points.
There were other Quadrupel style beers with Russian Imperial Stout, Dubbel, American Double IPA and American Double Stout that occupied the top ten positions.
