The position of Mojito hardly matters as the craze of this rum and mint blend is reported to have taken over offbeat areas like manicures and pedicures in spa, fresheners in Oral Fixations line and as the new drink of the Delta Air Lines.

No doubts about Bacardi minting money out of the current American passion for mojito, but what is interesting to note is the parallel rise in the sales of the humble herb mint, which is reported to be 20 percent by a New Jersey farm.

Even if Mojito does not beat margarita and martini, it will continue to fancy the American consumer as it pops in new-fangled flavors.
