ABC Crew Injured in Bomb blast in Iraq, shows signs of Improvement

bob woodruffABC News Anchor Bob Woodruff and cameraman Doug Vogt, who suffered from severe head injuries after a roadside bomb blast in Iraq, have shown some signs of improvement.

Both of them were taken to Landstuhl, Germany for Treatment via a flight. Vogt seems in a better condition as he was conscious and was cracking jokes, Woodruff also opened his eyes for a short duration.

Apart from the head injury Vogt is suffering from a broken shoulder as well. Woodruff and Doug were traveling in an Iraqi armored personnel carrier to get the perspective of the Iraqi’s, which was hit by an explosive device near Taji, which is nearly 20 miles away from north Baghdad.

Both of them will be shifted to Bethesda Naval Hospital which is a brain injury Centre and is located near Washington.
