Actress Jen Lilley designs clothes for supporting a cause

Jen Lilley is mainly recognized for her role as the On-looker in the movie The Artist and for playing the exceptional Maxie Jones in General Hospital. She has played small roles in many other famous TV series like Castle, Two and a Half Men, Hannah Montana, Rules of Engagement etc. Recently, she has tied up with the famous child care NGO, Childhelp, in a bid to support the abused children and extend a helping hand towards them.

Jen Lilley has launched her Signature Series Apparel with BYOU for raising funds for the NGO Childhelp. The money raised by this charitable attempt will be invested for the minor victims of severe abuse. The apparels designed by Jen will be sold online by the lifestyle brand BYOU, from 17th to 30th April. This program has been arranged with the help of spreading self-awareness among women and young girls who have suffered from abuse of some kind or other. It has the motto of raising their confidence and helping them live a better life.

Jen is not only an actress. She is also a comedian and a singer. It is very motivating to see such a young and talented celeb to take up a serious social cause and do something substantial for improving the lives of the young abuse victims.

Jen?s activities have brought focus to the very grave social problem of child abuse. So far, it has been greeted only with positivity and people seem to be quite moved by her attempts. Childhelp is a non-profit organization, which has helped many children survive and stand on their feet for the past 53 years. $7 from the revenue of every sold article will be given to Childhelp for taking care of abused children.

April is the National Child Abuse Prevention Month and taking up such a noble venture this month will surely bring new hope to many victims of abuse. Childhelp, which has cared for the abused children in many different ways like giving them education, treatment, guidance and arranging foster care services or foster homes, has come into the limelight. Jen Lilley, who has been awarded the National Educators Award for her great work in Guatemala, has upgraded her reputation through this campaign in a good-natured way.
