Secret model and Dutch television personality, looked very poised and quite happy when she was spotted, coming out with her son Damien, for celebrating her birthday on 15 April. Just before her birthday, she had received confirmation from her husband about his affair with her best friend, Sabia, who is also the wife of Rafael van der Vaart?s teammate Khalid Boulahrouz. Rafael and Sylvie have been married since 2005. In January, the couple split up following Rafael?s sudden outrage at his model wife at a New Year bash. He slapped Sylvie. Soon after Sylvie had told the media that though she has forgiven her husband, she would not continue the relationship.

Sylvie told the media that she doesn?t have any problem with her husband?s affair with Sabia and it is their decision, in which she has no part. She is concentrating on the upbringing of her six-year-old son Damien, who was spotted wearing chinos paired with navy blue jacket and trilby hat for his mom?s birthday celebrations. Sylvie looked super stylish in her metallic short dress, showing off her long, sculpted legs, when she came out of her house for her birthday revelries. Rafael has given public statement of his affair with Sabia saying that their romance has grown in the past weeks though they knew each other for years.
It seems the long and strong marriage between the ravishing model and her footballer husband is finally over. In a statement early this year, Sylvie had mentioned that they have drifted away over time. After the slapping incident, Rafael apologized and Sylvie tried to give him a second chance later on. Now their relationship is over for sure.
