Dirty Dancing star Jennifer Grey endeared everyone by clinching the Mirror Ball trophy in the season 11 of ABC???s Dancing with the Stars last week. And now, the gritty dancer is looking forward to win some hearts in the surgery room. The 50-year-old confirmed that she would shortly undergo surgery to mend a ruptured disc that she sustained during her triumphant march to the coveted Mirror Ball trophy.
Access Hollywood quotes her as saying,
I ruptured a disc, and I???m gonna go home today and I???m probably gonna have surgery this week or sometime next week. It???s just gonna be like a little surgery where they take out the ruptured disc thing, and you know, it won???t be a big deal. Compared to the other surgeries I had on my neck, my doctor says it won???t be a big deal. I???ll be home that night. I gotta tell you, the win and the experience of doing ??? more the experience of doing ???Dancing with the Stars??? ??? already, like I don???t even remember the pain I was in a week ago. I just have some discomfort in back that needs to be taken care of. OK, it???s a little more than discomfort.
