“Birds of a feather flock together” — This English saying seems to apply precisely to the Bollywood actors because they share similar trends. In this case, the trends include buying bungalows in the same spot and entering the political field. Akshay Kumar is trying to buy the bungalow off Rajesh Khanna.
Following the footsteps of Salman Khan and Abhishek Bacchan, Akshay Kumar decided to purchase a bungalow in the carter Road stretch, and that too from his father-in-law Rajesh Khanna.
On the other hand, Rajesh Khanna seems to be interested in politics and much like Shatrughan Sinha and few other bollywood actors, wants to be a politician himself. So he might sell his bungalow to Akshay and move to Delhi after all.
So, the trends are clearly evident! The best part about Rajesh Khanna’s bungalow is, it was Twinkle Khanna’s (wife of Akshay Kumar) childhood home. It is more than likely that Rajesh Khanna will be able to sell his son-in-law the bungalow. As of now, the bungalow is being renovated. Akshay and his family will be able to move in sometime in the middle of next year.
With Akki making some of the Bollywood hits lately, money is definitely not a problem for him. Currently, the actor owns a duplex in another part of Juhu. However, Kumar is not counting on his father-in-law. Akshay is keeping all his options open, should Rajesh Khanna change his mood. I hope Akshay and Twinkle gets their dream bungalow.
