Facts from Bornrich reveals that the 3.3 pound Alba was sold for a $160,406 to Gordon Wu, a Hong Kong property tycoon. Investigations add to the usage of truffle in a five-course banquet prepared by Ritz Carlton’s cook Umberto Bombana.
While it was for the second time that Hong Kong won the luxury food, what would have been interesting is the banquet menu, foreseeing its usage in sushi instead of pasta, salads and omelets.
