Alec Baldwin to apologize for rude remarks on television

Actor Alec Baldwin who recently was in headlines for ranting his 11-year-old daughter is going to apologize on national television for calling her a ‘thoughtless little pig.’ The actor is reportedly planning to give up his acting career of 30 years.

Baldwin, who is involved in a legal dispute with his ex-wife over the custody of his daughter said he wanted to work for reformation in divorce, parental visitation and custody laws. The actor is also working on a book based on divorce, which is due for a September release.

Baldwin has urged NBC network to let him quit his co-starring role as a TV executive on the popular sitcom 30 Rock, but the network has refused as it has already signed the actor for a second season.

Meanwhile, television therapist Dr Phil McGraw who had earlier offered to counsel the split family on his talk show Larry King Live, revealed that Baldwin had called him for advice on Thursday.

The hearing to the case is scheduled for May 4, till which Baldwin has been restricted to meet his daughter.
