Finally, here’s some good news for Amy Winehouse fans. Wino’s new album is due out this December. Wino’s father Mitch recently revealed that she’s making good progress with her new LP and the album will hopefully be out just before Christmas. This is her first album since the phenomenal hit Back to Black which was released in 2006.

The troubled singer’s father Mitch Winehouse says the new LP – the follow-up to 2006’s hugely successful ‘Back to Black’ – is a “work in progress” and will “hopefully” be out before Christmas. He said: “I’ve heard some tracks. She takes a long time to grind out an album. She writes from her own experiences and most of the time they’re bittersweet experiences, and that’s the problem.”
Didn’t I tell you that a single step away from that junkie Blake will assure dividends in the multiples of 100 for Wino? Well, I hope she keeps the distance intact and continue to benefit from her break up. Here’s wishing her all the best and hoping that the album hits music stores before this Christmas.
