A skin blemish may only be a minor ???issue??? in a woman???s life but if the woman is a celebrity, a zit can make headlines. Grammy award winner, Amy Winehouse too, was not spared any empathy when her spokesperson announced that the singer had been suffering from a contagious skin disease called ???impetigo???. Since then the lady has been under constant public scrutiny regarding her scabby skin, infected patches and their dimensions, the number (and nature) or scratches on her arms and so forth.
In a desperate attempt after all make-up techniques seemed to have failed, the singer ordered in a sun-bed with the hope that a tanned look may camouflage her deteriorating skin and draw away attention from her blemishes. She has also been reported for doing deadly drugs and ruining her health. There have also been assumptions about her injuries as being self-inflected owing to the fresh scratches on her arms.
Other singers also speculate that Amy???s wandering ways and careless attitude could prove to be detrimental to her singing career which is at its peak right now. People from the entertainment industry feel that Amy needs to pull herself together if she has to maintain her place on the charts. After Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan, it looks like there is another addition in the list of troubled singers.
