And what’s your estimate for the royal wedding?

prince william kate middleton

The wedding of the year is just two days away and equally soon enough Kate Middleton will be catapulted into royalty as well. However, though it???s a univocally accepted fact that Prince William lacks the magnetism which his parents Princess Diana and Prince Charles possessed, it hasn???t robbed the interest which his marriage to a commoner has generated.

Prince Charles got married to Diana, then a commoner, way back in 1981. This royal wedding back then had captured the interest of 750 million people worldwide who had watched it when televised. Considering the world population of roughly 4.5 billion back then, the audience made up to 17 percent of the total population. However, as per the optimistic statistics of Britain???s Sun, the royal wedding of Prince Charles and Kate Middleton will be followed by

up to 3 billion hopeless romantics.

With the present population being close to 6.8 billion, the audience for the upcoming wedding makes up to an astounding 44 percent of the world population, which makes the viewer ship back then in 1981 for his parents wedding look awkwardly meager. The British government on the other hand has a realistic expectation of a viewer ship of 2 billion, which is roughly 29 percent of the world population.

If certain non-optimistic sources are to considered which quote a world audience of just 1 billion or a study which states that the British are not as much interested in the wedding of Kate and William as they were in that of Diana and Charles, one definitely can???t rule out the fact that the global over reach today is capable of upsetting any prophesized estimates.
