Pax Thien, my newly adopted son, needs to be taken care of, since he is just three years old. So, I will stop making movies and give ample time to my son, so as to understand him and make him more comfortable.
It all started when the lady lent her helping hand to the boy during a welcoming ceremony at the Tam Binh Orphanage in Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City. Tears starting rolling down the kid’s cheeks when Jolie knelt down to converse with him. The Hollywood Superstar was moved by this episode and gradually declared her mind out.
I saw Pax’s eyes packed with tears and something within me forced me to talk to him then and there. I took him aside and was glad that he regained his composure after this. He even played with his new brother Maddox.
Angelina and her partner Brad Pitt are overjoyed to be responsible for four kids now – five-year-old Maddox from Cambodia, two-year-old Ethiopian Zahara, Pax Thien and their biological daughter Shiloh Nouvel born in Namibia last May. Now a family of six, Jolie feels being more responsible. And thus, comes her decision of taking time off from doing movies in order to take care of her brood.
The 31-year-old actress hopes to learn a little Vietnamese so that she can understand Pax’s needs and chat with him until the boy gets adjusted to life in the United States. The kid knows a few English phrases, as per revealed by Bui Thi Thanh Tuyen, the child’s chief caretaker at the orphanage. Jolie confirms with a grin,
Pax has been taught phrases like ‘What’s your name?’, ‘How are you?’ by the staff at the orphanage. He is very clever and I wish he delights in a great life ahead.
Well, the goodwill ambassador for the U.N. is all set to take a break from movies and make a happy family. Good going Jolie!
