Angie Stone is all set to wed her fiance Ashanti at the Atlantis in the Bahamas next year. The couple began dating eight months back and has finally decided to settle with each other though they have not finalized any wedding date.
The Soul singer has found a father figure in Ashanti for her two kids and feels that he will turn out to be her best friend and a good man. Ashanti is an auditor for an airline and had met Angie after courting her over the phone for three months. The duo hugged one another when they saw each other for the very first time. At that first instance only the two had realized that they are to spend the rest of their lives with each other.
Black Diamond singer said:
I wasn’t looking for him and he wasn’t looking for me. I walked into the airport and he was working behind the desk and the rest is history.
Mother of two children, a daughter and a son with neo soul singer D’Angelo, whom Stone dated during the 1990s, is currently working on her fourth studio album entitled The Art of Love & War. the album is scheduled for a release on September 18, 2007.
