A Dallas based recording company’s executive has paid $59,750 for two diaries written by Anna Nicole Smith in the early 1990s. The identity of the company and the executive has been kept a secret.

The purchase was made after the two diaries failed to sell at a recent auction, said Doug Norwine, director of music and entertainment memorabilia at Heritage Auction Galleries of Dallas.

After the diaries failed to sell, they were put on sale at a minimum bid of $25,000 each. Two people were inclined to buy the diaries, but the man from Dallas sent the money first and became the proud owner of the tell all diaries.

The auction house had obtained the diaries from an anonymous German businessman who had purchased them from eBay for a whopping $500,000 several weeks ago. The German businessman wanted to auction the diaries after securing the publishing rights.
Smith’s lawyer-turned-partner, Howard K. Stern however alleges that the diaries are stolen property and should be returned to Smith’s estate.

The diaries, from 1992 to 1994, have a vivid description of topics, from Smith’s love of octogenarian oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II to her eating problems.
