Madonna is to perform in August in the main square of St. Petersburg, home of the Hermitage Museum, which houses some of the world’s most precious works of art. But the startled authorities are demanding the celebrity to vow not to cause trouble at her show.The museum’s director, Mikhail Piotrovski, wants Madonna to follow the sound level limits, and is also worried about Madonna’s enlightening ideas about Church, which can’t be easily digested by Vatican or Russian Orthodox Church. I don’t know why in the first place they allowed Madonna to perform on Dvorzovaya square; especially after knowing her power over making crowd go wild; and after that they asked her not to create trouble; as if they don???t know that if you ask Madonna specifically not to do something, she will make sure that she does it.
The museum’s director has quoted the upcoming event a “natural disaster”. And wants Madonna to sign a an agreement that would prevent her from playing the music very loudly. Poor Madonna! These authorities are acting as if she is a rebellious teenager rather than a famous pop singer. Come on people, so what if she has created havocs in the past, we are sure she will behave herself this time.
