Contrary to reported engagement of Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz, Simpson’s representative has confirmed that the rumors of impending wedding are ‘absolutely not true.’
Online gossip website had reported on July 18 that Wentz, 28, proposed to Simpson, 22, on July 7 a few minutes prior to his performance at Live Earth. Further. The site had even reported that Simpson is preggers. It even alleged that the rumored engagement is being kept under wraps because Ashlee fears overexposure that ruined her elder sister Jessica’s marriage to Nick Lachey.
Now we know that the simple reason for this “engagement’s” privacy is its nonexistence.
Although Simpson and Wentz have been seen dating publicly on several occasions, they are yet to confirm they are a couple.
Wentz became the centre of media limelight after some pictures of his privates, taken from a cell phone, were leaked onto the internet in March, 2006.
