American pop rock singer-songwriter and actress, Ashlee Simpson believes plastic surgery should be a personal choice.
Sources claim that — the singer was reported to have had an operation to remove a bump from her nose in April. It was just after she returned from Sydney, Australia, where she hosted the MTV Australian Video Music Awards.
Ashlee, 22, in an interview said:
I loved how I looked. I’m not an insecure person, nor was I before. It’s a personal choice. I believe if somebody chooses to do plastic surgery, it (should be) for yourself, not for anyone else.
On the nose job rumors she said:
I don’t get bothered by people saying what they say. I’m a happy person, and I’m happy with my looks.
The young star refuses to deny or confirm reports that she had a nose job in April 2006. She is the little sister of pop singer Jessica Simpson.
Singer’s third album is scheduled for release before the end of the year.
