Jason Selvig, a big fan of Canadian singer Avril Lavigne, is so fond of her that that he has gone to the extent of launching website Kickstarter.com. The sole purpose of the website is to attract generous donors. Actually he is in need of $5,000, to fulfill his dreams of dating Avril.
The desperate struggling actor wants to travel all the way to Los Angeles just to propose his dream love, Avril Lavigne, to marry him. Just imagine the kind courage Jason has to speak out his mind in public, when he is also aware that Avril is currently dating Brody Jenner, half-brother of Kim Kardashian. On top of that, Jason wants that people should doante and sponsor his trip to Los Angeles. But, he has till now managed to collect a mere $30 from three donors.
His website Kickstarter.com clearly announces his intentions. It says:
In order to finally marry Avril (or at least date her long enough to get into one of those real-couple fights), Jason needs to get to Los Angeles where she lives. After doing some math, he figured $5,000 would be enough to fly him out there, put him up, and get him in the same room as her so that he can take her out for a nice night on the town.
Apart from all this, Jason also wants to make a documentary about his experience on his way to his love.
After hearing this news, do you really think Jason loves Avril? Or is it some kind of a publicity stunt to make himself famous? Whatever it is, we just have to wait and see whether Kickstarter.com actually manages to serve its purpose. Everyone is now interested in knowing if Jason succeeds in meeting his dream date.
