It looks like the once upon a time famed Beattles band members are facing a lot of trouble these days. John Lennon’s murder is followed by the McCartney raw divorce deal. Sir Paul McCartney is believed to have signed a bad deal with his ex – Heather Mills.
The Divorce deal:
This kind of settlement will be the largest in the British history. I am sure all Britons are very shocked by now. If the divorce deal between Sir Paul and Mills works out then, she will be the owner of 3.5 million pounds a year (till her daughter Beatrice turns 18). The total amount would be 70 million pounds. What a deal huh?
The deal is pretty close to be sealed. An undisclosed source mentioned:
We’re extremely close to a resolution. The figures have been agreed
Part of the deal is also arranged in such a way that Mills keeps her silence. According to her, Sir Paul abused and physically assaulted her. She also accused the Beattle of trying to stab her with a broken wine glass.
Status on the deal and particulars:
However, the adamant Heather Mills is asking for 102 million pounds according to sources. I think this a huge or rather, staggering amount. Although, if Mills’s accusations are right, no monies can make up for the harassment that she went through.
Mills also accused the Beattle of banning her from breastfeeding her daughter, drinking heavily and smoking Cannabis. Wow, those are some serious allegations. I am pretty sure that Sir Paul must have done some of those.
The 70-102 million pounds that Mills is receiving is a money she gets for her ‘dignified silence’. Part of the deal also forbids the signing parties to talk about the marriage failures. The problem with this kind of deal is, either party might back off at the last moment wreaking havoc in the legal proceedings. So, all the attorneys are on the standby till the deal is sealed.
