Hollywood’s hot couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner rolled down the red carpet at Rumor in Boston last night to do their part of societal goodness. They organised a fund-raising event for their pick for president, Barack Obama.
Affleck was noted as saying that there were many things that he liked about Obama. He referred to the senator as a genuine and real force and truly believes that that Obama was the person for the job of president. Affleck has been an outspoken Obama supporter even he met Obama at the 2004 Democratic convention in Boston. However, the cool dude who was sporting a gray suit and black All Star sneakers was quick to justify that his outspoken support for Obama did not mean that he detested Hillary Clinton.
At the fund raising event, Jennifer, was quick to leave the political talk to her hubby, but did pose for a few a pictures before the event kicked off. The US$250 (euro160) “pre-party” tickets, which buy some one-on-one time with the couple, were quicly sold out. A US$50 (euro30) ticket bought entry into the club, where Garner and Affleck mingled with guests. Obama did not attend the event. Joining the Hollywood couple at the event were Charlize Theron, Oprah Winfrey, Jessica Alba and Will Smith.
