The Black Eyed Peas have added one more colorful feather to their already colorful cap. The hip hop group has set a new Billboard record by remaining No. 1 atop the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for 20 straight weeks. They first hit gold with Boom Boom Pow, which kept the top slot for 12 weeks and later extended the golden phase with I Got a Feeling.
The feelings and ecstacy of his group is beautifully summed up by frontman Will.I.Am in the following statement,
Let’s break it down for what it really is: five mother-f—ing months. Every creative person wants to do it bigger than the last creative person cause you’re inspired by them, you’re fans of them. But to beat Elvis’ record, Michael Jackson’s record, the Beatles’ record, Rolling Stones’ record — that’s crazy, dude.
