Both honor and disgrace at the same time for the legendary Bob Dylan. ???Little Buddy???, a poem written by Bob Dylan in his childhood has been put up for an auction by Christie’s and has been described as his ???brilliance even as a 16-yearold???. But at the same he has also been accused to be a plagiarist for the same piece of brilliance.
???Little Buddy??? was penned by Dylan when he was 16, but it has emerged that it???s the revised version of an old country song by Hank Snow.
It???s a disappointment for Christie???s who is running the auction for charity and the manuscript was expected to fetch up to £10,000. However, they???ll continue with the auction with certain modification in credits in favor of Hank.
But is it really that a big deal? Considering the fact that he was just a teenager when he wrote it and in that age if he did a little bit of imitation, it doesn???t make him anything lesser than a legend that he is. So all you Dylan fans, there???s no need to be disappointed!
