Bollywood actresses and their illustrious catfights

Two good actresses can never be friends. Many of the Bollywood actresses proved this saying right. We have seen many Bollywood beauties fight with their stark contemporaries, but there are a few like Deepika and Priyanka also who being the leading actresses of the industry, still share a close bond.

The glamour world is full of rumors, gossips, and catfights. These fights generally take place because of the over ambitious nature of the actresses, they are always up for outnumbering one another. From time to time, shutterbugs keep giving us a sneak peek into various catfights of the tinsel town.

Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma caught in a “catfight” over a make-up man; “catfight” between Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone over Saif Ali Khan, between Jaya Prada and Sridevi, Sharmila Tagore and Raakhee, Bipasha Basu and Kareena Kapoor, Kareena and Priyanka Chopra, Sonam Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai, Amrita Rao and Esha Deol. The list is endless.

Many consider Kareena as the queen of catfights in Bollywood. Kareena gives a clear-cut explanation that she is not in the industry to make friends.

When actors as talented as Rani Mukerji and Vidya Balan starred together in “No One Killed Jessica”, the two beauties could never emerge out of a press conference without being asked: “Did you have catfights?” Ditto when Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut featured in comparative roles in “Fashion.”

Generally, catfights are the outcome of a woman’s insecurities, needs, desires, and dreams. The maturity to deal with such issues only comes with age. Saying this Madhuri shared her feeling of being wary of being paired with her contemporary Madhuri Dixit and was insecure about being compared with Madhuri, Manisha Koirala and Karisma Kapoor. However, with the passing time, her perspective has changed.

Opinions can be a plenty, but a celebrity is a celebrity. Everything they say, wear, or do, will definitely get attention. They are meant to be like that. Moreover, it’s not just the actresses who fight. Don’t you ever fight with your sister or friend over petty issues like a borrowed hair band or a dress? Don’t you feel jealous when everybody talks good of your friend and not you? Don’t you gossip about girls whom you find much more beautiful and classy than you?

I am sure you all do these things. So if our pretty Bollywood women are into these things, what is so wrong with it?
