The legendary tennis superstar Boris Becker celebrated his 40th birthday in grand style along with his ex-wife Barbara Feltus, former girlfriend Sharlely ‘Lilly’ Kerssenberg and a so called mystery women who bore a striking resemblance with his ex wife and past girlfriends.
The sports icon Boris seems to have a similar taste for women. Just within 24 hours of his split with former girlfriend Sharley the three time Wimbledon champ was seen out in the town with mystery women. The 40 year old sport star is on a roll as far women are concerned. He was seen arm in arm with a mysterious girl who happens to be eight in line ever since 1999.
Known for moving along with look-alikes effortlessly over the years, Boris seems to have maintained good relations with each one of them. This was evident at his party when his ex-wife and former girlfriends made their presence felt including Sharley with whom he parted ways recently.
Becker has two beautiful children from his wife Barbara. Their marriage saw its end in 1999 when Becker’s liaison with waitress Angela Ermakova London’s Nobu restaurant came into the light. This encounter left Boris with an illegitimate child and cost the sports star £20 million in the divorce from Barbara. This tryst with the waitress forced Boris to pay for a flat for the Russian origin waitress in the most expensive blocks in Kensington which even housed celebrities like Princess Diana and Sophie Rhys. This settlement also included £40,000 lump sum and maintenance of £5,000 a month for Anna who he now visits regularly.
Celebrity flings seems to be much of a craze across different parts of the world. Moving around with different women only gives them publicity. For Boris the same thing repeated when he was seen moving around with rap singer Sabrina Setlur in 2001, who had recently been voted Germany’s ‘most erotic’ woman. 2002, saw another lady in the arms of Becker in the form of Iranian-American beauty Patrice Farameh, who again bares striking resemblance with Becker’s ex wife.
Living up his identikit, 2003 made Boris to fall in love with French-born ballerina Caroline Rocher. Sadly for Becker their love did not last that long as well. In 2006 model Michelle was seen arm in arm with this sports icon but only till Sharley Kerssenberg made her way, who today also has been shown the door.
Commenting on the identikit spree of Becker, a source close to the BBC commentator said,
Relations between Boris and Lily have been tense for the past couple of months. They split up a couple of weeks ago after things came to a head during a pretty ferocious screaming match. Lily was keen to settle down and even start a family but Boris feels he has a complicated enough family life and would rather focus all his energies on the children he already has – not be planning new ones. After talking things more calmly later, the split was amicable in the end and the pair is still in regular contact. But Boris is definitely single and definitely back on the market. He is joking that his next girlfriend will be small and blonde – the polar opposite of his usual type.
People who have been great admirers of the superstar may just have a let down with the kind of relationship spree Boris is displaying. It looks more like an obsession, because all the women whom Becker has been seen with mark a similar resemblance with his ex. The icon should more so let go of all these feats and concentrate on his children. When legends retire from the sport a lot more is expected from them in the form of giving more back to the sport which gave it all to them. But Boris is giving himself more in other places than where he should be. Even if he is, that definitely is not being showcased. For a craftsman of the tennis game, Boris Becker should be hitting headlines for his contribution to the sports and not for successfully roaming with look-alikes.
