Singer Boy George would be seen on the streets, picking up trash in August heat. He would be issued a broom, gloves, shovel and plastic bags, sanitation spokesperson Vito Turso confirmed lately. He said, this is the epitome of community service; he is not going to work in air conditioned office.
Boy George, whose real name is George O’Dowd, struggled with his drug problem for several years. In March, he reported a false burglary at his place and cops found cocaine when they searched his house. He was ordered to do community service for five days after he pleaded guilty.
