Brad Pitt is joining hands with Global Green USA, a national environmental organization, on the design project. He is sponsoring to rebuild some parts of Katrina struck New Orleans. Brad will be heading a jury of local leaders and architects who will decide upon the six finalists who will work with local neighborhoods on the thorough plans of environmentally sound constructions.
After seeing the scenes of the destruction caused by Katrina, Pitt was really upset and thought of rectifying it. Head of Global Green, Matt Petersen says that there will be other people in the jury, more experienced than Brad but he admitted that Brad has also educated himself on architecture and green designs.
Being honest I couldn’t recognize him on the first look in this picture. This still is from his movie ‘Babel’ which will be released in the first week of Octobers.
