Brangelina donate $100,000 for medical facility in Sudan

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have donated $100,000 to Direct Change, a non-profit organization in Africa. The amount will be directed towards the establishment of first ever medical facility in Duk County, Sudan. The facility will open in spring this year and will be able to serve 150,000 people.

John Dau, the director of Direct Change’s Sudan Project said that the people of Sudan are very grateful to the celeb couple. E! Online quoted Dau, as saying,

Words cannot express my gratitude and gratitude of the people of Duk County.

Last fall, Jolie donated 1.3 million dollars for the Maddox Jolie Project aimed at forest preservation and poverty mitigation in the northwest region of Cambodia, where Jolie adopted Maddox in 2002.

After the birth of their biological daughter Shiloh, Pitt and Jolie contribute a huge amount to Namibia for the development of maternity wards in the country’s state hospitals.

In early 2007 when Jolie was filming the Daniel Pearl biopic A Mighty Heart, she donated $100,000 to the foundation set up in honor of the Wall Street Journal reporter murdered by terrorists..
