The couple are tipped as favorites to play Cleopatra and Marc Anthony in a new movie based on Stacey Schiff’s book Cleopatra: A Life.

The actress is the top choice to play legendary murderous Egyptian Queen Cleopatra, with producers said to be keen on her real-life partner – with who she raises six children – to portrayMarc Anthony. The film is being based on Stacey Schiff’s book ‘Cleopatra: A Life’, and the author has indicated she would love to see the couple in the leading roles because they have similar chemistry to Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, who met and fell in love when they made a 1963 movie playing the historical figures.
If you remember, it was a movie – Mr. and Mrs. Smith – that brought the two closer and sowed the seeds of this great affair. So I guess it’s only logical to think that this new movie might just prove lucky for Brangelina and add some much-needed charm to re-ignite the dying flames. A big blow to the ill-wishers of Brangelina!
