Bret Michaels escapes injury in highway accident

It seems Bret Michaels’ stars won’t settle for a smooth ride. After getting thrilled by a freak stage accident at the Tony Awards last month, the Poison singer has fallen prey to his ill luck once again by getting involved in a highway accident. Luckily, he escaped unhurt this time.

The singer escaped injury by a very narrow margin after a car lost control and hit his tour bus in Canada over the weekend. People reports,

According to a statement on Michaels’s Web site, the Poison singer, 46, was en route to St. Paul, Minn., on July 4 after performing at Toronto’s Molson Amphitheater when a car “lost control and slid into the side of Mr. Michaels’s tour bus causing a five car pile-up on the roadway.”

No injuries were reported, and Michaels and his crew were “released from the scene” after an investigation.

Maybe he needs to take a break from his busy schedule and do something to tame his stars to avoid such happenings in the future. Anyway, I’m happy that Bret saved his nose this time.
