Good to see that Britney Spears acknowledges the person who witnessed her “first shot” as an artist. Ed McMahon, who passed away in Los Angeles after a prolonged illness, was dearly known as the best looking host of the TV talent competition Star Search. The show that gave initial platform to many of the today’s biggest pop stars, Britney being one of them.
Britney has expressed deep grief on the news, and stated: ???I am deeply saddened by today???s news about Ed McMahon,??? Britney tweeted Tuesday. ???He is responsible for giving so many artists their first shot including myself. He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed.??? She appeared on McMahon’s show in 1992, when she was just 10-year-old and performed ???Love Can Build A Bridge.???
