BRITNEY SPEARS is the biggest star of the past decade, according to a new internet poll. After shooting to fame at the end of the 1990s, Spears has dominated the charts and newspaper headlines throughout the past 10 years, convincing visitors to PopEater.com she is the 00s’ top celebrity. Thirty-five per cent of more than 25,000 voters placed the singer above actress and humanitarian Angelina Jolie, who drew 26 per cent of the votes. Beyonce Knowles came third ahead of Spears’ ex Justin Timberlake, Tom Cruise and Paris Hilton.
