Britney’s weird behaviour had long been a cause of speculation over her mental status. Her old pals, those who have known her longest are now insisting that their pop star friend has a long history of mind-bending drug use, which has caused havoc to her life.
Way back in November 2006, she was seen with a bag full of prescription pills during a night out with pals, sparking rumors of her being a drug addict. Her friends are blaming drug addiction for her miserable life.
Amanda Alexander, Britney’s first husband Jason’s sister claims that the singer has been using drugs since 2003. She was quoted saying in In Touch magazine,
When I was around her, she took Ecstasy.
Her ex-hubby added that he has even seen Britney using cocaine during a night out in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana.
Britney’s close friend Kent Smith, who knows Spears since the last ten years said,
She does like to party… I’ve been there when she’s done Ecstasy and cocaine.
