Did you guys know Britney had a ‘shocking slapfest’ with her mama, Lynn Spears? I wonder when she will grow up! And until and unless she grows up nothing will be resolved between Britney and her mother. This physical altercation between the two took place in the middle of June.
The ‘Toxic’ singer lost her mind when her mother arrived at Brit’s house uninvited and started attacking Britney’s parenting skills. A source told America’s Star magazine,
Lynne barged into the house and insisted on taking the kids out to spend some private time with them.
She didn’t ask or suggest, she demanded. Then she began denigrating Britney’s mothering skills and losing her temper at the same time.
Britney and Lynne had a shocking slapfest. It left Lynne shaken and Britney more determined than ever to cut her mother out of her life for good.
The catfight between the two is supposed to be because Spears served the legal papers against her mom, but the murmur is that Mama Spears is considering filing a countersuit. But her mum doesn’t completely blame her daughter, she believes the troubled pop star is suffering from depression.

Despite their problems, Lynne cares deeply for Britney and wants to find a way to help her. She thinks antidepressant drugs may be the answer. Lynne feels Britney has severe depression issues, and they are in large part the cause of her apparent manic behavior and past problems with alcohol.
Hit Me Baby One More Time star even gave Lynne an angry poem, in which she claims she has ‘no mom.’
