Brokeback claimed four awards at Bafta

brokeback mountain12Brokeback Mountain proved its strength at Orange Bafta as it won four awards at the ceremony. It took away the top honors including Best Director, Best Film, Best adapted screenplay and Jake Gyllenhaal grabbed an award for Best supporting actor for playing a gay rodeo cowboy.

Just like several other award functions Reese Witherspoon was awarded as Best Actress for her movie Walk the Line. She has bright chances of winning the best actress award at Oscar for the same.

Philip Seymour Hoffman won Best actor award for Capote. The Constant Gardner which was nominated in different categories but could grab only one award. George Clooney also went home empty handed.
