“My mother Teri Shields has been diagnosed with dementia. For her safety, she has temporarily been in a senior living facility, a very difficult decision for me.”
This statement has been issued by American actress, bestselling author and supermodel, Christa Brooke Camille Shields after some reporters had checked her mother out of her assisted living facility on May 14.
The Pretty Baby star has been spending considerable time with her mom which has been confirmed by her close friends. “Her devotion is very apparent,??? says longtime pal Anna Strasberg. “Brooke takes care of Teri. There’s a bond there. It’s not a public thing for show. It’s very deeply personal.”
This comes despite the fact that Mrs. Shields has not had very cordial relations with her mother along her life.
