Cabbage stewed with Chicken, Chili and Peppers

cabbage stew1Monsoon calls for a steaming bowl of cabbage stew with meat and pepper. The recipe is as follows:

Ingredients

Chicken Breasts
Large Cauliflower Chunks
Slitted Jalapeno
Sliced Red Bell Peppers
Chicken Stock
Cabbage Stock
Crushed Garlic
Chopped Onions
Chopped Tomatoes
Chopped Cilantro
Cornstarch
Bay Leaves
Pepper Corns
Salt

Method

1. Sear chicken breasts.

2. In a wok saute bay leaves, pepper corns, onions, garlic and tomatoes and cilantro until they are saucy.

3. Add cabbage and cook covered until cabbage is tender.

4. Add the chicken stock, cabbage stock, salt, jalapeno peppers and red bell pepper.

5. Pressure cook for some time.

6. Add seared chicken breasts and cornstarch and then simmer the stew for 10 minutes.
