The ‘American Idol’ winner – who has kept her year-long relationship with Ottawa Senators hockey player Mike Fisher largely under wraps – is set to marry, her publicist has revealed. The 26-year-old singer is yet to set a date for the wedding but “the couple couldn’t be happier” announced Jessie Schmidt on Monday (21.12.09).
Number 12 (Mike’s jersey number) has definitely proved lucky for Carrie Underwood and it should not come as a surprise if January 12 is set as the wedding date. I’m not kidding, I can already smell the fragrance in the air.
