For all the celebrities out there, it’s time for the Golden Globe awards. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Golden Globe Awards have helped the non profit donate several million dollars to entertainment related charities. The Golden globe awards are mostly given to television and film personalities for their contribution. Here’s what some of the nominees had to say about this award.
This year the following celebrities have been nominated: John Travolta for his ‘Harispray’, Ryan Gosling for the ‘Lars and the real girl’, Helena Bonham Carter selected for ‘Sweeney Todd’. Numerous others were also nominated for this particular award. But, the nominees decided to speak up and express their thoughts on the award and their nomination this year.
The celebrities who were nominated had some pretty interesting things to say about their nomination as well as the award. Some of them were simply excited while others had mixed feelings about their nomination. Some got the news about their selection from their assistants while others got it from their relatives or house mates. Nevertheless, they had a lot to say about the award. James McAvoy nominate for ‘Attonment’ said:
It’s lovely. I was actually at the Today show when the nominations were announced. I’m so excited and I’m so happy the film got three nominations and Diablo (Cody) got recognized
For Ellen Page who was nominated for comedy/musical ‘Juno’ concurred:
My agent Brian Siberell from CAA called me at whatever the hell time it was. It’s wonderful that so many of us have been recognized.
So, the nominees expressed their feelings and luckily we got to know what they thought of this award. I would have been as excited as they were if I was selected.
