Celebrating Christmas in a jail is no one’s favorite fantasy, but actor Charlie Sheen had to go through the same experience courtesy of his wife, Brooke Mueller. The Navy Seals star reportedly spent Christmas Day behind bars in an Aspen, Colorado jail.

The actor, real name Carlos Irwin Estevez, was arrested after allegedly fighting with his wife, Brooke Mueller. In a statement, a Pitkin County Sheriffs Office spokesman confirmed Sheen was charged with “second degree assault”, “menacing” and “criminal mischief.” The spokesman added, “All charges are coupled with a domestic violence component.”.
Luckily, there doesn’t seem to be any serious note to this untoward incident because Brooke told police that they were celebrating Christmas in Aspen with their baby twins and she was drunk when she called the police. Additionally, Sheen’s spokesman extended a statement on similar note urging the media and the public not to jump to conclusions.
Fine, we won’t jump to any conclusions. But Charlie’s wife surely screwed up his Christmas!
