Charlie Sheen trades jail term for 30-day rehab stint

Now, this is why I fear starting a Monday on the wrong foot. This is going to be one ‘rehab week’, courtesy of my yesterday’s rehab post on LiLo. The latest celeb to go into rehab is Charlie Sheen, who was fortunate enough to trade his jail term – arising out of his Christmas Day showdown with wife Brooke Mueller – for a 30-day rehab stint as part of a plea deal.

According to People,

Charlie Sheen pleaded guilty Monday to a misdemeanor assault charge in his domestic violence case and was ordered to 30 days in rehab as part of a plea deal at a court hearing in Aspen, Colo. In exchange, two other charges were dropped. The actor was also sentenced to three months probation and must complete 36 hours of domestic violence counseling.

I guess I must avoid stretching this issue at any cost because I’m not not much amused by this kind of stuff, and I have a queer feeling that if I continue elaborating this rehab stuff, we might actually end up jinxed for the whole week. Happy stay, Charlie.
