1. Gather the ingredients

2. Start with the process of cheese making

  • Place a sauce pan on the gas and put two cups of milk in it.
  • Add pepper, margarine and sugar to the milk. Stir this mixture constantly with a spoon to avoid burning.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil and then turn the burner off.

3. Prepare the cheese

  • Add about ten teaspoons of vinegar or lemon juice to the boiling milk.
  • The milk will turn into curd after you add vinegar or lemon juice. You will have to stir the milk so that vinegar or lemon juice gets completely mixed in the milk.
  • You will notice that the milk turn into two parts – curd (cheese) and whey (remaining liquid).
  • Let the mix settle for about 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Take a clean cloth and pass the mixture from it. This way, you will be able to seperate the curd from whey.
  • Press the cloth to drain out the remaining whey, add a pinch of salt if you like and mix it properly. After you have mixed the salt, press the cloth once again to tighten the cheese.

4. Store and use the freshly prepared cheese

  • Take the cheese out of the cloth and put it in a bowl. Store the cheese in the refrigerator for later use.
