Andrew Tweedy, British singer Cheryl Cole???s brother, has been arrested and put behind bars for 6 years. His crime consisted of conspiring and masterminding a robbery in one of England???s post office. It???s a very unfortunate event for the 30-year-old as he has been plunged into the limelight for all the wrong reasons. Though he has one reason to rejoice. His girlfriend, Emma Stanners was cleared of all money laundering charges and is roaming scot-free.

Andrew Tweedy was found guilty on charges of conspiracy to rob and possession of a firearm with intent.
He confessed to helping to mastermind the heist along with four others at a postal store in North Tyneside, in which the gang brandished an imitation handgun at owners.
On Friday (11Mar11) a judge handed the 30 year old a six year sentence. His girlfriend Emma Stanners was cleared of money laundering.
It???s actually a funny situation. I???m quite sure if Andrew was in dire need of some dough, he could have approached his singer sister. Robbing a post office, rather attempting to, has cast a very negative impact on Cheryl???s as well as Andrew???s image. While his girlfriend Emma has been acquitted, Andrew was unable to escape the law. Here???s hoping and wishing Cheryl all the best for her future, for if she has a brother like Andrew who is all to tarnish her reputation, then God bless her soul.
