Singer Shakira says that her poverty struck childhood lead her to start off a search for success. Her family business collapsed overnight and her they were left with nothing. She disclosed that her father even sold their air conditioner. To make her feel privileged her parents took her to a park where she met with her several homeless kids. Then and there she decided to fight off her poverty and earn fame.
