Chris Penn’s death was an accident. The 40 year old Actor died because of enlarged heart and ill effects of a mix of medicines. Craig Harvey, county coroner spokesman said that his heart weighed a few hundred grams more than a heart of a normal human being and intake of drugs like promethazine with codeine made things worse for him.
Penn was not taking any medication for his enlarged heart (non-specific cardiomyopathy). Brother of Sean Penn, he played some remembrable characters in Rush Hour, Starsky and Reservoir Dogs.
