As per reports Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co.is going to test its recent venture, Wrigley’s Coffee Gum, in the 7-Eleven stores. This coffee gum called as Doublemint Kona Creme is flavored with coffee powder, and what can leave you wondering you ‘how’ is the claim that it is without a hint of caffeine. This coffee has been successful in China and happens to be the most wanted beverage and flavor in almost every food except meats and fish.
As per facts, Coffee sales have increased in the past two years and therefore this gum could be a profitable venture. As quoted by Kevin Gass, an owner of Hackensack, N.J.-based GumRunners:
In some strange way, we’re actually pleased to see that they’re attempting to grow the gum category beyond another mint, cinnamon or fruit gum.
This in fact is a genuine thought as being a gum industry it needs risk and lots of market research to launch an out of the world flavor…Coffee flavored gum being the latest example.
