Trans Fat ban is reported to have come for the second time under opposition by Washington-based Center for Consumer Freedom, who have aired a commercial worth $125,000 in CNN and Fox News, to portray the transformation of food guidelines to food legislation by the ‘food police’. New York Daily reports commercial shows that the food police have been personalized as someone who snatches ice cream, hot dogs and other fast food from the hand of the consumers and regulates the food choices of individuals.

The consumers are so used to the taste of junk foods in restaurants that they are not only questioning the health policies formulated for solving majority of America’s health problem, but also motivating the restaurants to continue to cook with Trans fats.

Similar commercials were used to voice the protest against Trans fats ban last year. However, by not going to the extremes to chuck out Trans fat from the food ingredients, Americans are only a take step further to stay obstinate on being satisfied with the obesity and other health problems that has taken a toll on their health.
