Patrick Swayze grabs this week’s Cool Celeb of the Week crown for his sheer grit and resilience. The Ghost star has shown us that cancer is definitely beatable. What you need is a rock-solid determination to live! Patrick, who is battling Stage 4 pancreatic cancer, is said to be responding well to the treatment and is recovering fast. He was diagnosed with this deadly form of cancer in March last year. Though there were times (during his treatment) when even the doctors left the hopes, Patrick stayed on!
Rumors of his death surfaced on multiple occasions while he was hospitalized, but he forcefully denied those by declaring that he is alive. In retaliation to the latest rumor, that originated from a radio station in Jacksonville, Florida, the 56-year-old actor furnished a statement with a smiling pic of him with wife Lisa Niemi and their dogs Lucas and Kumasai on his New Mexico ranch. That’s like a real cool celeb! Wishing you good luck and a speedy recovery, Patrick!
