Coolio is not so cool after all! The rapper-turned-reality TV star was arrested for possession of crack cocaine at Los Angeles’ LAX airport on Friday morning.
Reportedly, Coolio, real name Artis Leon Ivey, Jr, was going through a security screening to get to his Southwest Airlines flight when a screener found drugs on his person. Coolio even got physical with the screener as the search was in progress. He was booked by LAX police and later released on a bail of $10,000.
I don’t know what’s the actual problem with these celebrities, especially the musicians. It’s not that it is too hard for them to procure drugs where they are stationed. I mean, it’s ok if you are addicted to drugs but why do you have to showcase your stupidity by carrying it in your pockets?! Let the drug peddlers take care of this job.
Anyway, lets hope that other rotten celebrities take some hint from Coolio’s arrest and stop playing drug peddlers.
